The memory interface is just the amount of data that the card can move at a time, 64bits, 128bits, 256bits, etc. but i wanna decide between the geforce fx (which is old but supports directx 9) and radeon 9250 (newer chip but dont have directx 9 support). i use my pc basically for animations (3ds max and maya) and occationally in gaming. For a PCI card, the graphics it produces are amazing - I use it to play high detailed, fast games like Unreal Tournament 2004.
