solved When my games freeze and the screen goes black, I have to hard reset, is there a way around this? Every driver is updated. Not a single crash since. Slowing them down can make them work properly.
Going into the event log, I would see the Nvidia driver error out on a load of different stuff, before crashing and recovering. This should have nothing to do with nVidia drivers. Do you guys have any recommendations? I have a mid size gaming pc case and pletty of room.

Unfortunately, some motherboards don't measure their own voltages very accurately. It used to take 10 minutes to freeze the game, but now after this PC repairs company dealt with it, it now takes an hour. My Nvidia GFX 460 temp runs 37 C normal operation and after playing Borderlands for two hours I saw it peak close to 50 C. click site It's definitely not because my computer can't run the game, nor a heating problem.

A simple power-supply swap could determine the problem, yet if it is the graphics card, I'd have to get it replaced which fortunately it is under warranty. Fast writes provide a faster way for the CPU to write data to the video card.

Even my curse cuts out. After a while, it started doing the same, so I inserted the new RAM without the old ones still in there, and it still freezes, but it's no faster.
