Need to check your thermal paste and be sure your CPU fan is working properly. And even with the fan on 100%, which is super loud, and the games settings on low(Alan Wake in this case), it still overheats and shut down. I'll research about it but I'm almost thinking it could be a defective card? i would suggest you check that one of the 6 pin pcie connectors that goes into your gpu to be powered from one rail of the psu, and the other 6 I could hear the game sound stuttering, then it goes completely off. I've been using it for years and it worked just fine, even while playing online games. check my blog Plus, I cleaned the PSU from dust for the hundred times, could this happen from dust in the PSU?
