Does it show up there? Power options in Windows may have something to do in connection to "removable media". I originally believed the cause was my SSD (120GB Vertex 3) but after replacing it with a 128GB 840 Pro, similar issues remain. Will Windows recognize it after that? You might be having a problem with the optical drive itself which would explain why that continues to be a problem while the hard drives have bounced back to normal. Is it possible my disk is failing?
Yet it will only be from a few simply errors on the drive itself that can prevent Windows from starting up! If your laptop has box-specs, then your 65W AC Adapter is seriously underpowered for 17.3 inch laptop with AMD and discrete GPU. HDD is properly secured. this content I had a drive that would take a little too long to "start up" sometimes, and the computer would start without it, like the drive wasn't connected.
Disable/Enable does the trick? Using the site is easy and fun.
