Download at least one anti-malware software from the list below and scan your computer. I am running windows hom edition 64-bit and I have been struggling with this problem for a loongggg time. I have been trying all day to figure this out. You have to remove these programs before you can get your settings back to normal.

All of the standard defense protocols such as a scan with MalwareBytes and ComboFix came up clean. If you can edit the contents of that gadget remove that line of code.
